Fariborz Farid at Glocken Museum of Apolda / Thüringen, Germany

We are glad to announce that on July 14th 2012  “My world Upside-down” a work by Kinderdijk project’s Artist Fariborz Farid, is on display at The Glocken Museum of Apolda in Thüringen (Germany). This work was presented for the first time on the 28th of may 2011 at Kinderdijk project in the opening for Fariborz solo show.

This project was born when the Artist  stepped into the nature around Kinderdijk and tried to make some sketches of his first findings, the reflections of the nature onto the water surface. By just turning the camera 180 degrees and filming another dimension that was still meaningful, a different approach for this particular landscape and our perception of it was opened. For this version of the work, Fariborz F. explores a different possibility with the space:  Now the film is not projected on a big scale but it is incorporated to the surface of an object placed in the exhibition room as some sort of installation which shows the projection (in a much smaller scale) as a part of it. During his stay in Germany, Farid’s works have been expanding their possibilities and exploring different pathways. Kinderdijk Project will of course keep a track of this processes and present them.
